G'day all.
I hope this finds you all well and looking forward to a lovely weekend. Maybe you can find a few minutes over the weekend to spare a thought for those who are deployed and those families at home who are missing them. Contrary to some of the reports in the press this week they will not all be home for Christmas. If you are packing up a quilt or a laundry bag how about adding in some tinsel or Christmas goodies. Now is about the right time to start sending it.
11 quilts this week and 28 laundry bags.
1180 quilts and 2212 laundry bags for 2013.
2188 quilts and 3578 laundry bags in total.
Here is "Show and Tell" for this week.

Remember those pale pink and purple blocks that some of you sent in? Well here is one of the quilts and the feed back was very positive.
"Jan-Maree,
I got word this
morning that a very happy little girl received her quilt. She was so impressed
that so many people all over Australia helped create it. I honestly believe the
people at home are the true Hero's and am so glad she was recognised for it.
Apparently the cover
has taken prime position on her bed. I have CC'd my partner on this e-mail and
will try and get a photo sent to you to show all who were involved.
Thank you and all
involved for your efforts."
It was our pleasure.
