Well this is the last Weekly Despatches for 2017. What a fabulous year of work from everyone!
You should all feel very proud of yourselves for the beautiful creative work.
To the deployed defence personnel, we hope that you enjoy the quilts and laundry bags sent in 2017 with all the all the care and respect that comes with these personal gifts from our sewers.
So far for 2017 we have sent off 1755 quilts
Bringing our total since we started to over 8,398 quilts

3433 laundry bags for the year
Which brings us to a total of 16,520 since we started...

What a wonderful year for the Aussie Hero Quilts and Laundry Bags.
I hope that your Christmas was lovely and that you have got over your food coma's, because it will shortly be New Year's Eve. I trust that you will all have a grand welcome to 2018.
To all deployed defence personnel, who are away from your families for New Year's Eve, I trust that you will have time to relax and enjoy the company of your comrades. We look forward to your safe return and we thank you for your service, especially at this time of the year.
