Weekly Dispatches 1st November 2019

Greetings to all Aussie Hero Quilts volunteers and supporters.

This is a very special weekend...it is the Annual Thank You Weekend in Canberra, 

for all Aussie Hero Quilts volunteers.  

It promises to be a wonderful time for us all as Jan-Marie brings together Recipients, 

supporters, Military personnel and volunteers.  

For those who can't attend there will be Posts, reports and pictures for you to enjoy.

This week it would seem that the volunteers haven't been as busy as usual, but they have!  

Many Quilts and Laundry Bags are travelling to Canberra to be 

displayed at the Dinner on Saturday night to really give it the Aussie Hero Quilts flavour. 

They'll all be in the mail on Monday and displayed in next week's Dispatches.

This year so far we have sent off 1,030 quilts 

and that has brought our total since we started to more than 11,165 quilts

We have also sent off 2,120 laundry bags, bringing our total since we started to over 22,268 laundry bags
