Weekly Dispatches 19th July

Hi everyone.

Yesterday, my postman delivered an envelope...a special envelope...franked

with the Australian Forces Post Office stamp. I love receiving one of

these because I know that inside is a letter from a grateful Recipient who has

received the quilt that the Coffs Harbour Team has made for them.

They are always beautiful notes of thanks and they warm my heart and make

me glad that I work with Jan-Maree's Aussie Hero Quilts.

I like to imagine a Recipient receiving their Postage Box with AUSSIE HERO QUILTS
and the Aussie Flag on it...and their excitement as they tear it open
to find out what has been made for them.
The letters of thanks tell us how much excitement goes on around them with everyone
eager to see the contents...and sometimes there are tears amidst the joy, they report.

Well, here we have the Quilts and Laundry Bags that have been sent to Recipients

this week. Thank you to every generous contributor who has been

a part of making these beautiful items for our Aussie Heroes.

This year so far we have sent off 739 quilts
and that has brought our total since we started to more than 10,874 quilts.
We have also sent off 1,258 laundry bags,
bringing our total since we started
to over 21,406 laundry bags
