Hello to all you marvellous sewing people!
What a fantastic haul this week!
Your work is amazing and your hard work is most appreciated.
I have been enjoying the lighter traffic through the school holidays. For those of you who have kids at home or grandkids, you are probably looking forward to next week, when they are all back at school. I must admit, I miss the excuse to go and do "kids stuff" in the school holidays. If you have been lucky enough to enjoy the company of young people, I hope you have made good use of the time together. They all grow up too soon.
Have a special thought for those parents serving who have not been able to spend time with their families.
So far for 2018 we have sent off 755 quilts
Bringing our total since we started to over 9176 quilts
1519 laundry bags for the year so far
which bring us to a total of 18115 since we started in 2012
(Just a quick reminder that I place the names below the work and not above)

I hoped that you enjoyed looking at all the beautiful work as much as I have.
The winter weather here is Sydney has been kind to us over the past few weeks although the cold morning starts have meant, it is a struggle to get out of bed. The beauty of those cold starts is that there is a clear wonderful winter's day to follow.
The bulbs have already popped up and there are some jonquils flowering at home. A sure fire sign that we are moving towards spring.
Wrap up warm
See you round like a rissole
Shelley
