Thank you all for the wonderful sewing contributions this week.
I was so pleased to see how the crowds still swell to commemorate our Diggers past and present.  There were people of all ages in the ANZAC service that we attended.  The kids were asking questions and were genuinely interested to know about the history behind the ANZAC story and all of the other places that the Australian Defence Personnel have served around the world.  It was a proud moment for me, when the New Zealand  anthem was played alongside the Australian anthem. A bond between our two countries that will not be lost.  (Even if you still give us hell every time you get a chance!)

See you round like a rissole
Shelley
