Thank you to all the contributors who have sent the following
BLOCKS OF THE MONTH
that have arrived this past week.
A special thank you to the members of the Lake Macquarie Group of the Embroiderers' Guild NSW who sent 79 blocks from the BOM February this year. The accompanying letter says "...it did take us a little longer than anticipated, as the project was misplaced...and we had a few other slip ups." I think we all know how that happens. The first quilt using their blocks has been started today so it is no problem they are a little late. Their PS states "Six of our members have sons, grandsons and grand daughters in the various Services, so this was an activity close to our hearts".
Thank you to those who send one block each month or five or even more.
All the blocks are used and enable the Sewing Team in Coffs Harbour to make personalised
quilts for our Aussie Heroes quite quickly.
