Went down like a Mirage with a flame out...

I am often telling our volunteers that our quilts do duty after coming home from deployment. Well here is another example. 

......

So.... you are "playing bloody cricket" filling in for your spouse's team when you, and I quote,

"Deadset chewed dirt, went down like a mirage with a flame out…"

You have no choice! You are off to hospital quick smart.  

The end result is that you have torn your hammie off the bone and are now in hospital waiting to see the orthopaedic surgeon.  Doh!!

Your spouse is in a hurry so she can't find YOUR quilt so what does she do??  She brings in HER Aussie Hero Quilt for you, of course... you were filling in for her cricket team after all.
