Weekly Dispatches 22nd May 2020

Afternoon everyone!

Hope you are all well and warm, today has been chilly all around Australia I see, even the NT had to break out the jumpers!

My friends who quilt always say winter is the best time to finish a quilt, as when you put the binding on (the edging for us non-quilters 😁) you get to keep warm under the quilt.... A not so pleasant task apparently in our hot Aussie summers I have been told. 

Checking out this weeks dispatches, the lucky new owners of the below quilts have some beauties to keep them warm and safe. 

Also, a huge well done to the COVID-19 Laundry Bags sewers, our home-front teams are in for a surprise when they get them.

Fun fact: 19 April 1984 – Advance Australia Fair is proclaimed as Australia's national anthem, and green and gold as the national colours. Aussie, Aussie, Aussie!! Oi, Oi, Oi!!!!

and that has brought our total since we started to more than 11993 quilts

We have also sent off 1871 laundry bags, bringing our total since we started to over 24596 laundry bags.
