We have a few more new people this
week (welcome!) so I will include this information again just for them. If you
look at the list and need help choosing please feel free to let me know. I know it can be overwhelming and I am more
than happy to give you some advice and find a request that you will be
comfortable with doing.
More huge thanks to our ADF members
available to be deployed to carry out a myriad of tasks that need to be
conducted and we are going to do our bit by letting them know that their
services are appreciated.
Operation COVID-19 Assist Laundry Bags
Last week we achieved promises for
all the COVID 19 LBs we had been asked for. I have just received a new
request. A number of you said you were
happy to sew more laundry bags for COVID Assist. If you are still interested to help, that
would be wonderful; please respond via email as per usual. Again postage for these bags won’t be free; the
most economic way is using a pre-paid satchel. You can fit 5-6 in a 3KG satchel
or 12 in a 5KG satchel. As always we
need the bags to be MASCULINE or GENDER NEUTRAL because we always end up with
more feminine theme ones than we need.
We are getting lovely feedback from recipients
of these laundry bags which you can read in our Gratitude Post on Tuesdays.
Priority Quilts
Requests 16 and 17 inclusive are our priority quilts. Number 16 needs to
be in the mail by 7 June and Number 17 has to be in the mail by 15 June. It
would be great if you could take one of these ones up this week. Thank you!
The post by date for all items on this list is 22 June please. If you
cannot make that date please let me know.
