Weekly Dispatches 18 January Version 3

Having a few technical glitches with the blog today.  Apparently, for some reason, the weekly dispatches is over-writing the previous posts instead of pushing them further down the page.... no idea why! Seeing if I can fix it.

If this does not work I will have to assume it is a Blogger Glitch and hope they correct it.

Hi to everyone in the Aussie Hero's Family

Well Christmas and new year celebrations are a distant memory and we are already well into 2019!  I'm hoping that you all had a fabulous time with friends and family.

To those who were serving throughout the festive season, I trust that you had time and method to make contact with your families.  We are all very proud of you.

This year alone we have sent off 41 quilts and that has brought our total for the year to more than 10176 quilts since we started.

We have also sent off 32 laundry bags,

bringing our total since we started to over 20,180 laundry bags.

What a great start to 2019!

We have Australia Day coming up.  I can tell you it is an important date in the Australian Calendar of those serving overseas.  I hope you have all got some special plans to celebrate in your own way, no matter how simple they may be.

We are looking forward to a fantastic 2019.
