These are some of the quilts made by the Coffs Harbour Sewing Team using
BLOCKS OF THE MONTH
sent by contributors from all over Australia
Thank you to each one who generously gives of their time and money to send
these blocks every month
The Coffs Harbour Sewing Team is a group of 18 girls who have a power Sewing Day on the fourth Monday of each month. On this day, quilts are mostly made by teams with a couple doing the applique work, singles or pairs constructing the tops that I design, another doing the machine embroidery of text. The tops then go to the girls who do the quilting and then on to some
who do the binding and labelling.
Several of the Team also continue to make quilts throughout the month, designing, creating and constructing their own quilt that is the passed onto one of our wonderful members who quilt them.
The Blocks of the Month enable us to put these quilts together quite quickly and so I consider all Block of the Month contributors a part of "the Team" and I THANK YOU for your participation.
