Weekly Dispatches 8th September 2017

Hi Fellow Volunteers

What a massive amount of work you have all sent in this week and such variety too!

I hope that all the Father's had a wonderful time last Sunday.  It is a great time to see all the family together and think of those Dad's who couldn't be there in person.  Father's Day might be a commercial enterprise, but it is a great excuse to get everyone's family members together and appreciate the time. With everyone's busy lives, I don't think there is enough time of just relaxing with family and friends.

So far for 2017 we have sent off 1270 quilts 

bringing our total since we started to over 7,913 quilts

AND

2488 laundry bags for the year 

which brings us to a total of 15,545 since we started...

We everyone can be very proud of the fantastic work this week.

I'm enjoying having my Navy boy son around at the moment.  We didn't realise how nice it was just to see his face.  We may not have him in our company for much longer but we are making the most of it.  A family bush week is planned for this Saturday.  Have a great week for yourself.
