Weekly Despatches 15th September 2017

Hi there, you wonderful sewers!
I hope you have had a rewarding week with plenty of satisfaction from your wonderful work.
Spring is in the air! Blossoms everywhere and there has been a lovely hint of warmer weather this week in Sydney, although it was back down to 18 degrees today. The work this week is wonderfully colourful and spectacular.  Please enjoy the photos of everyone's work.  The recipient's are going to love their gifts 
So far for 2017 we have sent off 1303 quilts
bringing our total since we started to over 7,946 quilts
&

Thanks for all the marvellous sewing work. The personal sewing is fantastic and I'm sure the recipients will get a kick out of receiving their gifts.
Have a fantastic weekend!  I was lucky enough to be invited bush walking with my son and his girlfriend this weekend. 
A special time for us to be sharing time with our family. We are thinking of all of those who are deployed who do not have this luxury.
