Well hopefully that title got your attention
because I have great news!!!
I have just had it confirmed that the Centenary of ANZAC Quilt is going on display
at the Australian War Memorial.
You will be able to see it for about three months
from the end of August.
I have been advised that the quilt will be displayed in
the Post-45 corridor, opposite the portraits of Corporal Ben Roberts-Smith VC
MG. That is, from memory, in the Afghanistan display.
How great is that!!!
I hope that this will not be the only time and place that the quilt will be on display but it is a start so please support it if you can.
Till next time.... Definitely spread the word and happy stitching.
Jan-Maree xx
So good to hear!! Well done JM. Great photos!!
ReplyDeleteThat is great! The recognition is well deserved, even though I know that AHQ does not do its work for recognition. The support given to serving troops deserves to be recognised.
ReplyDeleteThat's so exciting. Well done to you Jan-Maree for all your hard work...
ReplyDeleteExcellent, that really is great news - now to email my relatives in Canberra and tell them where they can see it.
