Anne

Christine C (WA)

and Christine's daughter Nicole

Danni and the Sit and Sew Ladies at the Quilting Patch made this gorgeous Aussie themed quilt.  Look at all that applique!

Evelyn

Kiwi Karen made this awesome quilt but I am not going to tell you about it just yet.  I want to write a post in this and its brother quilt that you will see soon.

Debbie

Fran T

Joan

As Joan said "a little bit of skullduggery"

Lynn made this quilt top, I appliqued the words and Donna (DeeEmEss) quilted it.

The words show up better in the flesh, so to speak!

Lisa made this fabulous scrap quilt, also her first AHQ.

With this cheeky looking piggy patch it has to go to a 7RAR fellow.
I am really going to miss the Porky 7!

Liz

Grace made this quilt with some assistance from Nancy

A friend of Paula's made this and donated it.

Nancy's crew made this quilt top and sent it to me.  Louise embellished it and Liz B quilted it and made the laundry bag.

Rita made this quilt and we had to wait till it was received before we could share it.

It has gone to a legal officer whose nickname is "Atticus" after the character in "To Kill A Mockingbird".
In case you can read the text on the quilt it says "Remember, its a sin to kill a mockingbird."

Sent off two quilts and laundry bags this week.

Su made this awesome quilt.

We have the words to "My Country" by Dorothy Mackellar on one side and "Kookaburra sits on the Electric Wire" on the other side.

And finally!

Ta Da!!!!

Welcome to the first official male Aussie Hero Friend who makes his sews his own quilts and quilts them.  We have Geoff who does the most wonderful quilting on his longarm machine but as far as I know Lindsay here is the first fellow to be making whole quilts and laundry bags!
Welcome aboard Lindsay.

Cheer for now

  2. Really amazing quilts and laundry bags - almost too much to take in at one look. I'm in awe at what you ladies produce, every week.
