Here's to 15 years of caring for our Australian Defence Force.

It is hard to believe that this year we are celebrating our 15^th year of Aussie Hero Quilts. 15 Years of caring for our ADF Veterans. 

15 years in which time we have created over 17600 quilts and 38000 laundry bags. 

We are going to spend the months leading up to our 15^th Anniversary Dinner on 17 Oct 26 celebrating those 15 years of caring. 

There are currently ten 15^th Anniversary laundry bags, made by Rachel B, featuring embroidery by Inge C, circulating the world and Australia so that recipients, volunteers and supporters can take photos and share the story of their involvement with Aussie Hero Quilts. 

 The first official photo of a 15^th Anniversary laundry bag features five of our Garage Girl volunteers, from L to R, Bridget, Sheena, Gail, Bev F and Bev U.  These girls come to HQ most Fridays to sew and complete all sorts of tasks that help to keep Aussie Hero Quilts running smoothly. Thank you for everything you do for Aussie Hero Quilts ladies.
