Hi all,
Good morning, Did you check out last week’s “Weekly
Dispatches” on Facebook or the blog? Wow! Aren’t the designs just
amazing? Our Aussie Hero Quilt volunteers are just the best and so incredibly
creative. What wonderful colour and
comfort you are sending off to be enjoyed by our deployed men and women.
To add to news in previous posts, we are now a team of five as
we welcome newbie Catherine to the admin team assisting Jan-Maree whilst she is
taking care of some health issues.
It is our pleasure to support you, the volunteers sewing but please bear
with us while we are on L plates learning the ropes and getting to know all of
you. We are slowly coming up to speed and hopefully continuing to support you,
the extraordinary AHQ volunteers, to enable the amazing contribution you
are making. Request List, Gratitude Posts, Weekly Dispatches etc will all
continue and likewise, we will continue to value your support of AHQ and those
whom AHQ supports.
Any queries you might have, please don’t hesitate to contact via the AHQ email
as per usual with any queries and we will assist you from there. We may not know the answer but it will be our
pleasure to research and get back to you.
You may find your query is answered by me or perhaps Alex, Courtney or
Lisa. We will be ‘on duty’ in rotation.

Don’t forget, if you look at today’s Request List and need help choosing,

by email. Our goal is to help you find a request that you will be comfortable
with doing. As always there’s an amazing breadth of requests; there’s no
doubt about it, our deployed can be incredibly imaginative with their
preferences. I look forward to seeing
the photos of completed quilts and LBs when they are ready to post off.

select a quilt or laundry bag to sew. I am looking forward to connecting with

Priority Quilts
Requests 19 – 30 are our priority quilts this
week and need to be in the mail by 28 July or earlier, thank you. Can you
help with these?
The post by date for all items on
this list is 10 August please. If you cannot make
that date, please let me know.
PLEASE note the date and let me know if you have any problems getting your
quilt/LB away on time. In fact, if you are going to be late posting it please
let me know BEFORE you post it. Also, if this time frame is too tight for
you, there are options, just email me to discuss.
