Aussie Heroes has received the invitation to spend a day on a one of our ships as part of a family day. You would need to be an Aussie Hero Volunteer and will need to have made something for us since 1 Jan 18.
You need to be at the gate near Harry's Cafe on Cowper Wharf Road by 0715am on a week day morning. I expect we will not get back until mid to late afternoon. Obviously you need to know which day but you will receive details once you respond to this.
You are welcome to bring your spouse or children (grandchildren) but bear in mind this is happening on a school day and the minimum age is 8 years old.
You must wear enclosed shoes and bring photo ID.
Please advise any dietary requirements or restrictions/allergies.
Parking is limited. Your best bet is to park at the Domain Car Park and walk down or catch public transport. Allow plenty of time please.
All responses need to be with me by Wednesday night with full names of those attending and ages of those under 18 years old.
I don't like putting too many details out there online so this is how this is going to work.
If you are interested in attending please send me an email to friendsofAHQ@gmail.com and include
-the names of all those in your party,
-your mobile phone number
-the birthday dates of any members under the age of 18
-and any dietary requirements or restrictions.
I will forward those details to a volunteer who will collate the list and communicate further details to you once we have them.
