Weekly Despatches 23rd March 2018

Hi Sewers!
Well I was hoping to have our son home for Easter to enjoy extended family time.  (It seems with mordern life that getting everyone together is getting harder and harder)
The important work that our Defence Personnel doing, is seeing him deployed next week.  Whilst I will miss him at our family 'get together', I know that he will be working hard with his team.  As Easter is just around the corner, please spare a thought for all those who are unable to be with their family and friends over Easter.
Thank you so much for the exquist work this week.

So far for 2018 we have sent off 336 quilts

Bringing our total since we started to over 8,751 quilts

789 laundry bags for the year

Which brings us to a total of 17,329 since we started...

What a impressive collection this week.
Thank you so much for all that creative but hard work you have sent in.

With Easter looming, I feel it is my duty to say that safety on the roads is so important.  For those of you travelling, please take care.  Try and avoid the "crazies" out there on the roads.  We want you all of you in this fabulous "sewing family" to have a safe and fun long weekend.
Enjoy your chocolate Easter Eggs, family 'get togethers' and just generally relaxing.

See you 'round like a risole'

Shelley
