Weekly Dispatches 19 August 16

Hi all

Greetings from a lovely sunny Spring-like Sydney!  

A busy day ahead today with a sewing day in my home.... and another planned for Penrith tomorrow.  AND red letter day.... Sunday has always been my sewing day... the one day of the week that I can usually spend several hours sewing.  I tell people that if I socialise with you on a Sunday it means I REALLY LOVE YOU!  That was until the fire.  This Sunday, for the first time since the fire I expect to be able to sit and sew! BLISS!!!  Big thanks to Selena (and Bernina for the great price they gave her!) for my lovely new sewing machine! It will be getting a work out over the next few days. 

Ok, so now you can sit back and enjoy everyone else's Show and Tell. 

So far for 2016 we have sent off 1911 laundry bags 

which brings us to a total of  9731 since we started...

and...

We have also sent 855 quilts 

bringing our total since we started to over 6136 quilts.
