Weekly Dispatches 1 May

Hi all,
Looks like it is going to be a wet weekend here in Sydney. For some of you it will be perfect quilting weather.  I am off to see Fred Smith tonight with a couple of the girls and then tomorrow a couple of us will be flying the AHQ flag at the Casula Powerhouse Centre for Home Front: Welfare & Wellbeing of Military Families, an event which addresses the importance of understanding the issues faced by returned service people and their families, and methods and services which can assist in the short and long term adjustment periods.
Stop in and say hello if you are in the area.

Lots of lovely quilts and a plethora of laundry bags this week.

Enjoy the show.

503 quilts and 671 laundry bags for 2015.

4088 quilts and  6128 laundry bags in total.

Before I went to AQC I cut out three laundry bags for three blokes but, of course, ran out of time.   Thankfully Sue G was kind enough to sew them up for me.  Thanks Sue!   :-)

Hope you enjoyed the Show and Tell tonight.  If you are out and about on the roads this weekend, especially in Sydney, stay safe and drive carefully.

Til next time.......................keep spreading the word and happy stitching!
