Weekly Dispatches 13 May 16

Well, it certainly seems there is a definite chill in the air here in Sydney, great weather for working on quilts and for staying inside sewing laundry bags and that seems to be what lots of you have been doing, given the awesome selection on show tonight.

So far for 2016 we have sent off 1300 laundry bags

which brings us to a total of  9120 since we started...

and...

We have also sent 567 quilts

bringing our total since we started to over 5822 quilts.

Here we go....

Bev U made these laundry bags but the beautiful wildflower embroideries were completed by Michele and the awesome Marvel logos were made by Sammie, a recipient's wife.  Love the team work!

  1. Love the RAAF crest, well done Cindy and Kerri. Look forward to using one in the future. I loved being able to use the Rising Sun crest last week. It really added something special to the quilt. cheers all....

  3. Oh I wish you did this in 2010 when I deployed
Your quilts are amazing. Thank you for making everyone feel valued who are away on deployment. You and those who make the quilts should be very proud of your contribution.
