Hi All,
Welcome to Happy Mail for this week. I love it when I receive completed quilts in the mail and this week I received three. These first two are from Melissa T and I don't expect these to be lingering here for very long.
This following quilt is destined to be a Wounded Warrior Quilt. This will be the next one sent off if I get confirmation that we need another one in the mail.
Millie also sent along these two laundry bags.
Two more red, white and black stars from Rhonda
and also from Janine.
I am expecting a few more in the mail and that should be enough for the quilt. I am planning that these will be put together on the next sewing day at my home on the 10th of July.
These quilts are turning out really well so if anyone is interested in another joint effort quilt making special blocks like these or in another pattern just let me know and I will select a suitable recipient.
More delicious BOM blocks are coming in! For someone like me who just LOVES colour these blocks are almost edible! Every collection that comes in is like a colour story about the person who sends them and what they like to work with!
These are from Janin
These are from Sonya
This final lot are from Stephanie D
Sonya and Stephanie sent more than these but I just put a sample up on the design wall for tonight's photo. Depending on how many sewers we get at the next sewing day in two weeks we may get a couple of these quilt tops put together! Personally I am really looking forward to it.
Well, it is a cold blustery squally day up here so I am off to applique, bind, thread cord and address parcels to my heart's content for the rest of the day and evening.
Till next time...............keep spreading the word and happy stitching!
