  5. That is so amazing, wow, took my breath away & i'm so thrilled they made the effort. I watched this with my darling husband, fresh home from Afghanistan, the morale boost you are giving them with a stunning handmade quilt, it's priceless. When they said how it reminded them of home, i burst into tears, as that is the hardest part, missing home & perhaps Vegemite. You are so wonderful, the awesome efforts, creativity & coordination. I can't wait to finally meet you soon, love Posie & the whole Posie family

  21. Wow! So inspiring as I'm wiping tears from my eyes. What an awesome thank you video. You and your team definitely deserve the kudos and I love their creativity in this video. I don't know what vegemite is except for the song from Men At Work talking about a vegemite sandwich (which I'm listening to now in your honor)!! Is it good? What is it?? But, I digressed . . . I'm so pleased for you and all the quilters who have contributed to this awesome project. Kudos to all and keep up the excellent work!

  23. Ditto to all the above comments! I'm a newbie here, and even though I was enthusiastic to start with ever since I heard of Aussie Hero Quilts, I am now ten times as enthusiastic! I am going to link this post to my own blog so my readers can see it, and hopefully spread the word about Jan-Maree and what she is doing for our blokes Over There :-)

  24. As I type this, it is December 9 as I read this and apparently this video was sent out by mistake, but I am so pleased that it was. Just knowing how much our Aussie Hero quilts are appreciated makes all the expense and the time and effort worthwhile.
