Aussie Hero Quilts 10th Anniversary Dinner - Postponed

 

Hi there

As you know, we have all been looking forward to celebrating our 10^th Anniversary with a dinner in Canberra on 12 March this year. Unfortunately, due to the current COVID situation the decision has been made to postpone the dinner until later this year. 

I am hopeful that a later date will make it easier for our volunteers to feel more confident about making the necessary travel arrangements with all borders open throughout the country.

I will advise the new date as soon as I am able.  We are aiming for one weekend in October.

If you have already bought your tickets do not worry.  Once we have the new date you will have the choice of holding on to your tickets or receiving a refund.

Noone is more disappointed than me, but I know, when the date finally comes, we will have a fabulous time.  It will be a wonderful time to catch up with old friends, meet new friends, and an opportunity to hear from service men and women about the impact our quilts and laundry bags have on those who receive them.
