To all of
our volunteers, recipients and friends and supporters,
I want to
take a moment to wish you all the Merriest Christmas possible and if you don't celebrate Christmas, then Happy Holidays. I know many of you are separated from your
loved ones because of service requirements, or maybe because of COVID, but know
that we are thinking of you.
To all our
wonderful volunteers, those who sew for us, thank you for your generosity and
for all the love and care you put into everything you make. It is much appreciated.
To the
awesome admin team who have stepped up to keep Aussie Heroes running over the
last 18 months or so a very big thank you.
Your contribution is invaluable.
We might have lots of people who want to sew for us but without those of
you who are happy to sit and answer and write emails, there would be nothing to
sew. We could not have Aussie Heroes
without you.
To all our
serving members, past and present, thank you for your service and the sacrifice
that service asks of you and your loved ones. Whether you are serving at home or overseas,
whatever operation you are on, perhaps a ship, or airborne, or ground based, I
hope our continued support will remind you that you have a grateful nation behind
you.
To those
that have supported us through the year with donations and encouragement, a huge
thank you. It means more than you know.
