Weekly Dispatches 31 March 17

As we come to the end of the week the clean up is only just starting in some parts of Queensland where Cyclone Debbie has wreaked havoc all week.   Thoughts are with all those who have been affected.  Stay safe to everyone who is still to feel the lasting effects of Debbie as she continues one down south.

Huge thanks to all those, Navy, Army and Air Force and all the other services, who have left their families and the comfort of their homes to deploy to the ravaged areas to assist in the recovery and reconstruction.   What would we do without you!

Thank you!

So far for 2017 we have sent off 815 laundry bags

which brings us to a total of 13867 since we started...

and...

We have also sent 486 quilts

bringing our total since we started to over 7136 quilts

Bridget created this quilt with blocks signed by Russell Coight (aka Glenn Robbins)

When we thanked him for his contribution I was told "‘it was an absolute pleasure and he’s always happy to help”
