I started thinking of how to use these blocks today. Wendy had sent a fair bit of leftover fabrics with these blocks and I am keen to do something with it before it gets absorbed into the rest of the donated fabrics or mistakenly used for another project.
I spent a bit of time cutting and I have a plan but this is all I am going to show you! Lots of 4 1/2 inch squares and not so many 4 1/2 x 5 1/2 inch rectangles. You will just have to wait and see! Hee Hee.
On other news I had a wonderful email from Karen telling me she has posted me some batting. I can't tell you how exciting it is to get an email from someone that I don't know at all offering support. It is a real validation that what I am doing is worthwhile. Thanks so much Karen.
I have also had some emails promising to send some nine patches for the Block of the Month! Yay! They should soon be here and I will be so excited to show you in a post. AND so excited to get started on the quilt or quilts! Exciting!
Big day of layering quilts tomorrow - no idea how many we will get done but there will be three of us working on them so you never know! I am really looking forward to getting them quilted and bound!
