This post is really for the benefit of the volunteers who are newish to Aussie Hero Quilts. A lot of our requests ask for the inclusion of certain badges or crests. We are fortunate to have permission to use the military crests, copyright free, on our Aussie Hero Quilts and Laundry Bags.
We have be able to have many of the badges digitised professionally by a couple of people who work for us on a volunteer basis. We are so blessed to have this assistance as it would be far too expensive for us to pay someone to create the programs for these badges. Once they have been digitised we can them embroider the badges on home domestic embroidery machines.
For all the new quilters I thought I would include photos of most of the badges and crests we have the ability to embroider.
