Weekly Dispatches 26 April 2019

ANZAC Day in Sydney was wonderful!

A clear blue sky and perfect for all those who marched and attended services.
It was a lovely change from showers of rain and our veterans wearing rain coats.
I hope you all had a chance to take in the special memories
offered by our diggers and their families.
It is so good to see our younger generation being thankful and respectful of those who gave so much.

Thank you to all the generous people who have produced the following items for our Aussie Heroes.  You are all wonderful troopers yourselves.

This year so far we have sent off 462 quilts

and that has brought our total since we started to

more than 10,597 quilts.

We have also sent off 771 laundry bags,

bringing our total since we started

to over 20,919 laundry bags

What a magic haul of gifts.  I am amazed at how talented you all are.
Thank you so much for all of your work.

The year is screaming by and winter is on it's way.
We are so lucky to have the beautiful Autumn weather. I hope that you have all had a chance to get out there and enjoy it.

See you round like a rissole

Shelley
