ANZAC Day is coming up... it is a day for ALL veterans, past and PRESENT. It does not matter if you have served overseas or on Australian soil... it is a day to commemorate those who came before and to recognise those who are serving today.
If you are a veteran please consider marching, or at least catching up with your mates and other veterans on the day.
If you are a female veteran who does not usually march please look at joining one of the By The Left groups around the country for the march so that you can march with like minded females if you do not have a group you usually march with.
and perhaps most importantly,
if you are a member of the public, please come out and support your service men and women. Thank them for their service by turning up to the marches, the services, and especially by talking to them and actually saying "Thank you for your service". Five simple words that I know can have a profound effect on the recipient of your words without you even knowing.
