The Prime Minister's Message on ANZAC Day... with SGT Garry Robinson

Just a short post today....

Prime Minister Turnbull chose SGT Garry Robinson, our Wounded Warrior (yes, we consider him ours!) to share his ANZAC Day message with.

You can watch the video here

Regardless of what you may or may not think of Mr Turnbull, please keep your comments if any, respectful...

He ended the chat with Garry by saying

"The best way we honour our veterans of 100 years ago is to ensure that we look after the veterans of today and their families."

I could not agree more.

Whatever you did today I hope you took a few minutes to remember those that have given their lives, whether having made the ultimate sacrifice, or having given time in service, as well those who are currently serving in order to keep Australia and her people safe.

My husband and I were privileged to attend the Dawn Service with the men and women of 2 Commando Regiment.   The service was held at a beautiful memorial that has been built by the Regiment which makes a stunning setting for the ANZAC Day service.   Central to the memorial is this sculptural flame torch.

Till next time......

Lest We Forget.
