I shared this on Facebook last night but for my non-Facebook readers here is the story again....

I did something that I was really pleased to do today. I went to the airport to welcome home a fellow who has become a friend and who has no family in Sydney. I volunteered to be his welcome home hug!! Not having met him before I needed a sign so took the great sign that Lynn made. it worked, he found me and the hug was delivered and happily received.

It wasn't a huge homecoming today but I did see one other person who I knew and two girls who came home from deployment saw my sign and thanked me for their quilts with big smiles on their faces.

Till next time....................keep spreading the word and happy stitching!
