Sunday- Last call

Good golly Miss Molly!  Only two sleeps to go till I leave for Murwillumbah and then Brisbane!  Soooo much to do.

I will be posting on the road for the next two weeks so you may have to bear with me if my posts are late or short.  I am hoping to put out an extra post tomorrow morning or later tonight with the request list for this week.  Hopefully that will give you all time to look at it and let me know if a request takes your fancy before I hit the road on Tuesday.  I will, of course, have the laptop with me so admin will continue as usual, just may take me a little longer to answer your emails etc.

I thought I should give you a last minute run down for the dinner seeing as we have had quite a few new people like the Facebook page recently.  Also, if you have been thinking about coming to the dinner or buying raffle tickets now is the time as ticket sales close at 6pm tomorrow night.

If you follow the Facebook page or the blog I hope you will consider coming along as well.  You don't have to be eligible to come, you just have to want to come.

Format of the evening.

Please note  - this will not be a formal sit down dinner.  There will be hot and cold finger foods, a couple of different kinds of noodle boxes and cheese platters.   A cash bar will be in operation as it is just too expensive for us to run a function with a drinks package.

The wonderful MONEY HONEY will be our guest speaker.
If you are not familiar with this handsome fellow, then this is the Money Honey, also known as Mr J (long story) and he was my point of contact in Kandahar until recently.  He was a great help to me and is a great Aussie bloke.

SuperDad, the character from last Monday night's post, will also be in attendance as will a couple of other recipients.
